Children & Families

We extend a warm welcome to families .   Our Sunday worship is family friendly - most weeks children join in their own activities but we often come together as a church family in All Age worship with something for everyone.

During the week there are fun activities. The activities are outlined below. Click the What's On button to see a calendar of family activities, follow us on Facebook or pop into the church in the morning during the week.

SUNDAY KIDS

We offer families a warm welcome.  All children who come on a Sunday morning are invited to join in activities in their own room for at least part of the service (either with or without a parent).

Our aim is to allow both adults and children some space to reflect on the message for the day.  We have a team of enthusiastic leaders who like to engage the children in fun activities, whilst delivering a very simple Bible message.

Activities usually involve some craft, games and stories. Sunday Kids  leaders and helpers are fully DBS certified and trained in Safeguarding.  (Please note that Sunday Kids does not run during August but children's activity packs are available).

ALL AGE SERVICES

On Sundays when there is a service aimed at all ages, children are invited to stay in the church and enjoy the service in full.

There are busy bags available for very little ones with busy fingers!

NEW GROUP CHAT

This is a recently formed group for those who look after young people, i.e. parents, grandparents or for anyone who finds themselves in the caring, nurturing role of children and young people.  We meet once a month after a Sunday Service.  12-1pm in the Upper Room, looking at some of the many resources provided by the Care for the Family organisation.

Whilst the adults are chatting upstairs, youngsters enjoy games and snacks downstairs, supervised by some of our willing DBS checked volunteers.
